DAVID - CHRISTMAS/THANKSGIVING/ SPRING/EASTERHOLIDAY CACTUS
Wow, David has a confusing identity, huh? Well, here's some plant taxonomy learning for you guys.
David is a ZYGO Cactus. He is a cactus that tends to bloom in late fall or spring or both, depending on the variety. Commercial greenhouses force-bloom these cactuses (succulents!) for various holidays. In the US they're more available at Thanksgiving, in Europe they're more likely widely available around Christmas. You also see them in Spring, around Easter, in both US and Europe. They are sometimes available off-season, but usually out of bloom.
He comes in a variety of colors, from Pinks to reds, and fun white as well. He's most commonly found in the pink/red color palette. If you require a specific color, please request it in the notes.
Water - he likes to dry out between waterings like most succulents.
Light - medium filtered light, no direct light (he'll sunburn!)
