Clive is a button fern. He is just as cute as... well, you know. He loves low light, and indirect light. He likes to have humidity, and LOVES a good misting. He doesn't ever want to be swampy, though. Let his top 2" of soil dry most of the way out before you re-water. Check him out in his terrarium digs below! SO cute!

• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light

• Water: Water when the top 2" of soil feels dry

• ConsiderationsHe likes to have humidity, and LOVES a good misting.

• Pets : He is known to be non-toxic to humans as well as pets.

Pot note: Some of our plant pots have drainage, some do not. For watering care on specific plants - please ask for assistance after purchase!

Watch for fronds that are yellowing and wilted, these are signs of overwatering. Brown leaf tips are caused by high temperatures (above 80 degrees) or too low humidity. Trim off any dry leaflets and raise the humidity around your plant with regular misting or a pebble tray.

Ferns are native all over the world, but they are most often found in areas of high humidity, like a tropical rainforest floor. They are seldom found in cold, dry areas. Ferns reproduce through spores, meaning they produce neither seeds nor flowers. Their leaves are fronds, and they are the cutest thing ever when they unfurl!

Your Fern will thrive in a medium light area of your home with higher humidity, such as a bathroom or kitchen.
